Diana Taurasi Makes Awkward Sexual Comment At NCAA Tournament

August 2024 · 2 minute read

Louisville and South Carolina faced off on Friday night for a shot to advance to the championship game of the NCAA Tournament.

The Gamecocks ultimately prevailed 72-59, but that wasn’t the most viral story coming out of the affair.

Rather, the thing that completely blew up online after the fact was an awkward sexual comment made by Diana Taurasi on the TV broadcast.

Taurasi’s comment largely speaks for itself, as does the reaction after the fact:

“The length of the Cocks is long”

Commentary excitement notwithstanding, Friday’s results leave South Carolina and UConn to battle it out for a championship.

A lot of folks were hoping to see Louisville prevail, particularly given what Hailey Van Lith said heading into last night, but obviously that wasn’t in the cards.

As for Taurasi’s comment, in a March Madness run that saw cases like Arizona embroiled in weird groping disputean ESPN cameraman continuously zoom in on a cheerleader’s butt and a disturbing situation between a player and cheerleader – this feels like par for the course.

In fact, it’s actually pretty mild by comparison.
