This is a support quest for Honoring the Dead quest.

Timotheos wished to give his father a military burial in his Athenian armor. Alas, Diokles's armor stolen had been from their home, so Timotheos tasked Alexios with retrieving another set from a merchant.

Objectives of Dressing up for Charon

1. Find and Talk to the merchant

Hints:

The merchant is in Korinthia
His village is in the northeastern part of the Grove Kromyon
It is south of the Ruined Temple of Zeus

You will learn from the merchant that the armour was not stolen, but that Diokles sold it to him.

Choose what you want to do:

I'll buy Diokles's armor. - 7500 Drachmae
I'll buy the cheaper armor. - 250 Drachmae
I'll buy both. - 7750 Drachmae
Hand over the armor, or else. - In this case you will have to kill a merchant and other villagers and in his corpse you will find Standard Athenian Armor.
I'll come back later.

If you don't want to pay for Diokles' armor but you want to have it, you can steal it. You will find it on the top of a nearby building.

2. Acquire Diokles's armor

If you have decided to buy Diokles' armor, then you will have to go and get it. It is located at the top of a nearby building. You will receive Diokles's Armor.

3. Quest Completed

Rewards: Epic XP
