Fortnite to launch new Style of Etheria skin line

July 2024 · 3 minute read

Fortnite is launching player skins like its nobody’s business, and this time around, they have officially announced the Style of Etheria skin line. However, this skin line is going to be different and is not the usual collaboration that is pushed into the game. Nor is it some sort of a developer contract-based skin line. Instead, this skin line is set to feature a member of the Fortnite community, and Fortnite has openly acknowledged the community’s contribution to the development of the skin.

Tagging community member AestheticDemon, Fortnite has acknowledged that the entire inspiration and the skin design is to be given to this community member, who has been making fan-made skin lines for as long as she has been on Twitter. In a quest to showcase Fortnite’s involvement with the community they announced, ” Forged in a dream eons ago… Unleash your inner warrior with a new Style for Etheria, inspired by@aestheticdemon_ ” via the Twitter Community.

The initial receptions of the fans have been intensely positive, especially to find out a fellow community member receiving recognition from the official Fortnite handle appears to be a big deal. It will be interesting to find out, therefore, how the community reacts once these skins are released within the game.

Is Breaking Bad coming to Fortnite?

Fortnite had recently announced its collaboration with Ralph Lauren, and has even planned a collaboration with Stanger Things for the next year. Earlier, Epic Games had also partnered with NBA and even Ferrari. However, this time around, the new collaboration is going to be something special, especially since it is the popular television show Breaking Bad that might be coming to Fortnite.

While the parent company Epic Games has not issued an official statement regarding it, several concept player skins have emerged with 10 different outfits and 24 styles, and it appears as if this might be the largest collaboration yet with a major television show. A Walter White Fortnite skin appears to be in development, with the popular Chemistry teacher turning out to be one of the most requested skins in the game.

Although the show does not have a PG-13 rating, unless Epic Games decides to drastically change up the game, it can stay well within the guidelines and introduce these skins without violating any of the regulations. It will be interesting to find out if this skin turns out to be one of the all-time community favorites once it gets released.
