This year, Christmas Day didn’t go as Isaiah Pacheco had hoped for. After suffering a head injury, when the Kansas City Chiefs running back went to sit on the trainer’s table, it broke off!

It started in the third quarter when Pacheco caught a pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes. However, as the center, Creed Humphrey rushed to his team’s defense, he accidentally kicked the running back in the head on his way over.

After sustaining the injury, Pacheco went on the sidelines to get evaluated on how grave his injury was. As he attempted to sit on the medical table, it collapsed completely, resulting in him nearly falling to the ground.

Although Pacheco didn’t get hurt by the table collapse incident, he was eventually ruled out as he had suffered a concussion due to the head injury. For the time that he was in the game, he only tailed for 26 yards on 11 attempts.

The running back was also credited with a fumble after poor gameplay in handling the ball to QB Mahomes, which ended up giving the opponent, the Las Vegas Raiders, an eight-yard touchdown. But Pacheco saved himself when he logged a 12-yard touchdown in the second quarter.

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce struggled against the Raiders’ solid defense

Interestingly, another incident from the Chiefs vs. Raiders game occurred. Quarterback Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce hugely struggled in front of the solid defense portrayed by the Raiders. Both of them later expressed their frustration on the sidelines.

In the game, the Chiefs couldn’t get on the scoreboard until the second quarter, when running back Pacheco took a direct shot and scored 12 yards. The Chiefs turned the ball around several times in the game, allowing the opponent to score touchdowns.

In the 20-14 loss against the Raiders, Kelce came to the sidelines with a helmet in his hands, which he slammed onto the water cooler stand. He only logged four catches for 42 yards, while Mahomes finished 13 out of his 21 passes for 97 yards and one interception in the first half.
