Where to Find Anvil Rocket Launcher in Fortnite Season 2

July 2024 · 3 minute read

When it comes to Fortnite, it appears that the only thing that is constant is change. To keep the action new, the popular battle royale game is continually altering things up, large and small. This is especially true today, with the arrival of the Anvil Rocket Launcher, a brand-new weapon to the island.

The Anvil Rocket Launcher is part of the v20.00 hotfix update for Fortnite. The patch introduces a new set of weaponry to the game, including the MK-Seven Assault Rifle and the Combat Assault Rifle, which players can transport to the island with Gold Bar funding. The Anvil Rocket Launcher, on the other hand, is immediately available; players simply need to know where to look for one.

Anvil Rocket Launcher Locations in Fortnite

The evil Imagined Order, or IO, is fighting The Foundation’s Resistance for island territory in Fortnite’s ongoing plot. As the fight intensifies, so does the armament in this season. The new Anvil Rocket Launcher is intended to be used as an anti-vehicle weapon with homing capabilities. Players can glance down the scope, lock on to a vehicle, then fire to cause catastrophic damage ranging from 600 to 660 points. The Anvil Rocket Launcher can be obtained in ordinary and uncommon chests, Seven Supply and IO boxes, Supply Drops, and by battling sharks, to name a few places.

Because regular and uncommon chests can spawn almost everywhere on the map, the best way to snag one of Fortnite’s Anvil Rocket Launchers early is to try for one of the Seven or IO supply boxes. Although actively patrolled by IO soldiers, the majority of supply chests can presently be found in and near the Command Cavern POI. Any of the enormous IO airships stationed over the island, which normally only carry a pair of enemy AI, is another good site for supply boxes.

Aside from the Anvil Rocket Launcher, the new update also guarantees that Fortnite’s no-build mode will remain indefinitely. Zero Build Mode is a new dedicated mode that preserves the game’s meta prior to the current update. Like “normal” Fortnite, Zero Build Mode will have Solo, Duos, Trios, and Squads, which should satisfy all fans, regardless of whether they enjoy or despise the construction component of the game.

For a long time, Anvil Rocket Launchers will be the most sought-after weapon in the game, thus getting one (and making it out alive) may be difficult. If the new weapon isn’t available, players can opt for the new Armored Battle Bus, which has a Heavy Turret with equal anti-vehicle efficacy.
